Role Overview
AEI/Young Innovations is growing and we are looking for one Sharpener I (beginning level) employee who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced role! The Sharpener performs repetitive bench operations to produce dental hand instruments.  Don't have any experience sharpening dental instruments?  That is ok!  We are happy to train!  Listen to your favorite music or podcast while on the job, enjoy a Monday - Thursday work schedule, and the opportunity to work amongst a team of outstanding individuals in a thriving and growing company.  

Responsibilities

  • Uses grinder and/or sharpening machine to sharpen steel tips to specific design specifications for all dental hand instruments AEI manufactures that require sharp edges.
  • May work at different work stations as production needs require.
  • Meet or exceed production goals while maintaining quality standards.
  • Learns instruments and related product lines.
  • Learns quality processes and procedures
  • Become familiar with ISO, FDA and other regulatory standards
  • Other duties as assigned or necessary.

Qualifications
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). We are willing to train, although related experience/training is an added bonus!.
