Role Overview
Microbrush International is looking for a strategically driven Business Development Associate who thrives in an energetic and fast-paced environment. The Business Development Associate will be primarily responsible for driving revenue by contacting and closing warm leads (via email and phone) on new and/or technically-focused product lines. In addition, this role includes scheduling and conducting webinars and online demonstrations; managing new customer relationships through 1-2 reorder cycles to ensure product satisfaction and loyalty; and partnering internally to share meaningful customer or product insights. The Business Development Associate will work under the direction of the Director of Sales for Microbrush with strong connections to the Microbrush Marketing, Product, and Sales teams and will be based out of our office in Algonquin, Illinois.


Responsibilities

  • Contact and close warm leads into new sales opportunities (through emails and ~60-80 daily outbound calls/day)
  • As needed, schedule and conduct webinars and demonstrations to individual or groups of customers to drive closing success
  • Maintain accurate customer data in company’s ERP and CRM systems
  • Ensure customer acceptance and satisfaction by completing occasional check-in/reorder touchpoints
  • Gather and share customer and/or product insights with internal partners
  • Meet assigned KPI’s and growth objectives
  • Assist at regional Dental Meetings and/or Dealer Symposiums
  • Support KOL/CE initiatives

 


Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of inside sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of success in closing new business; prior knowledge and understanding of the dental market a plus
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience; completion of a formal sales training program preferred
  • Strong communication skills, including telephone and email, with the ability to complete a high-volume of calls and customer contacts each day
  • Strong listening, presenting, negotiating, influencing and closing skills
  • Ability to learn understand and communicate technical and clinical aspects of product line
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools, including MS platforms: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience working with and effectively utilizing CRM tools
  • Periodic travel may be required 5-10% of the time.
