Role Overview
Reporting to the Business Development Manager of Clinical Affairs, the Clinical Education & KOL Program Manager will oversee all aspects of the continuing education platforms for American Eagle Instruments & Young Dental including management of KOL contracts and relationships within the industry. This position has no direct reports.

Responsibilities
KOL Management
Manage current contracts with Key Opinion Leaders in the industry and negotiate annual contracts within budgeted spend. Actively seek new talent for speaking engagements and writing opportunities. Provide KOL’s with product information and details for presentations and articles; maintaining brand standards and relevant product information

Clinical Education
Write and develop CE Course content for American Eagle Instruments & Young Dental with a focus on keeping with current dental topics and providing high quality and educational courses for delivery by clinical team. This includes developing and citing all resources for continuing education as well as building online and live CE courses as requested.

Recruit, train and develop an educational team for American Eagle Instruments which includes strategically building out a clinical team of hygienists to present CE courses nationwide, including faculty calibration courses and responsibility for training and developing clinical team members to be field educators.

Manage details of all CE courses to be presented across the country, including but not limited to, coordinating with presenter and/or association, selecting location, and recruiting/advertising for attendees.

Additionally responsible for coordination of materials for each CE course with Clinical Team Administrative Assistant.

Qualifications
Training and Experience
Bachelors of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene required with Masters’ degree preferred. Three to five years’ experience in teaching and group instruction required along with previous presentation and speaking experienced.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
Knowledge of Clinical best practices, advanced instrumentation, didactic & clinical hygiene instruction. Will be required to develop expertise with company products, services and customers (training will be provided). Intermediate to advanced knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Power Point, Word, Access Database, and Outlook.

Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers, both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish and maintain customer relationships. Strong interpersonal skills and good computer skills.
