Position Overview

We are looking for a creative, energetic and experienced Social Media Specialist to join our digital marketing team. The Social Media Specialist is responsible for our paid and organic social media strategy, creative content creation, daily execution and online community engagement.




  • Develop comprehensive social media strategy designed to increase visibility, engagement and conversions across several social networks
  • Create unique, innovative content and campaigns, including photography, design and copywriting
  • Build strong and relevant audiences within social platforms and leverage them to support campaign goals and generate leads
  • Develop and maintain a fluid social media content calendar based on important dates, events, holidays, brand priorities and key marketing goals
  • Measure and report performance of all social media campaigns to assess performance and adjust as needed
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily
  • Monitor trends in social media, tools, and applications, and appropriately apply that knowledge to experiment with new and alternative social media activities
  • Identify and develop relationships with online influencers, organize partnerships and campaigns to support key marketing goals, and report on success of influencer campaigns
  • Administer customer ambassador program and community, work with marketing team to grow membership, drive engagement, and track and report on campaigns
  • Monitor and moderate online clinical educator community, acting as marketing liaison and providing member support when needed
  • Regularly provide insights gained from social listening and community moderation




  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design or a related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years professional work experience
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining and growing a social media presence across an array of networks and technologies
  • Graphic design experience including creation and editing for use on social platforms
  • Working knowledge of Facebook Ads Manager
  • Working knowledge of social media management software (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong aptitude for technology and desire to learn new software
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize effectively, manage competing and regularly changing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines
  • Understanding of web traffic metrics and social media KPIs
  • Experience moderating online communities a plus
  • Video production experience including recording and editing for use on social platforms a plus
