Job Overview
We are looking for a temporary machine operator to join our team in St. Louis, MO for a short term project. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting machinery, as well as inspecting and releasing completed products.

  • Produce various styles of vulcanized rubber cups.

  • Make adjustments based on feedback from in process inspections.

  • Perform incoming rubber tests.

  • Report any material discrepancies using the Non-Conforming Material Report process.

  • Perform proper plate maintenance such as cleaning and blasting.

  • Document any required process changes using standardized forms.

  • Perform in process inspections.

  • Report any machine malfunctions and provide appropriate written information to maintenance.

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures.

  • Train new employees.

  • Maintain company lot tracking system.

  • Participate in the company’s continuous improvement process.

  • Participate in department meetings.

  • Follow all safety and good housekeeping procedures to maintain safe working environment.

  • Must be able to lift over 30lbs. and follow safe lifting guidelines.

  • Other duties as assigned

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of machine operation in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior experience in an FDA/ISO regulated environment is a plus
  • Operator must be able to work in a team environment to communicate issues, solve problems, plan an organize work
  • Operator must understand the injection molding process, use quality measurement tools, and be able to read engineering drawings
  • Operator must have an excellent attendance record and be in good standing with the company
  • You must be able to stand while working for 12 hours.
  • You must also be able to regularly lift up to 55lbs.

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
