Job Overview
We are looking for a temporary machine operator to join our team in St. Louis, MO for a short term project. In this position, you will be responsible for operating and adjusting machinery, as well as inspecting and releasing completed products.
Responsibilities

Produce various styles of vulcanized rubber cups.

Make adjustments based on feedback from in process inspections.

Perform incoming rubber tests.

Report any material discrepancies using the Non-Conforming Material Report process.

Perform proper plate maintenance such as cleaning and blasting.

Document any required process changes using standardized forms.

Perform in process inspections.

Report any machine malfunctions and provide appropriate written information to maintenance.

Perform preventative maintenance procedures.

Train new employees.

Maintain company lot tracking system.

Participate in the company’s continuous improvement process.

Participate in department meetings.

Follow all safety and good housekeeping procedures to maintain safe working environment.

Must be able to lift over 30lbs. and follow safe lifting guidelines.

High school diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum of 1-2 years of machine operation in a manufacturing environment
- Prior experience in an FDA/ISO regulated environment is a plus
- Operator must be able to work in a team environment to communicate issues, solve problems, plan an organize work
- Operator must understand the injection molding process, use quality measurement tools, and be able to read engineering drawings
- Operator must have an excellent attendance record and be in good standing with the company
- You must be able to stand while working for 12 hours.
- You must also be able to regularly lift up to 55lbs.
Working Conditions

Manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
