Overview
We are looking for a strong Senior Financial Analyst to join our Financial Planning and Analysis team at our Algonquin, Illinois location. The Senior Financial Analyst will primarily focus on gathering, analyzing, and presenting financial information to drive profitable growth for multiple business units. In addition, this role serves as a key partner to business unit Field Finance Managers to monitor and track initiatives and financial performance throughout the year.  You will need to be equally comfortable maneuvering through complex data sets and partnering/communicating effectively with all levels of business leadership. This role will reports to the Director of FP&A.
 
Responsibilities
·         Provide financial management support, such as analysis, budgeting and counsel to all corporate departments and shared service departments (including sales and marketing)
·         Manage, consolidate, and analyze annual budget process consisting of five business units and corporate functional areas
·         Provide OEM analytical support to business development/sales team
·         Monitor and consolidate all financial information for executive team review of monthly business performance; includes variance analysis and forecasting to identify risks and opportunities
·         Manage the creation and execution of detailed cyclical and ad hoc financial reporting to drive organic sales growth for multiple business units 
·         Drive continuous process improvements and best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the planning and reporting processes
                                                     
Qualifications
·         Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
·         5 to 6 years of experience with demonstrated success in managing complex financial planning and modeling
·         Computer/system skills, including: expert level Microsoft Excel (VBA Coding a plus), advanced level Microsoft PowerPoint, and the ability to extract and manipulate large quantities of data from an ERP system and data warehouse/cube structure
·         Capability to manage multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner with a focus on process improvement
·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels of the organization 
·         Strong interest in understanding critical success factors for multiple business units, including key factors needed to increase value company-wide
