Role Overview
We are seeking a talented, self-led, and energetic Sales and Customer Support Specialist to join our team at our location in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Sales and Customer Support Specialist will primarily be responsible for ensuring the successful management of our equipment rental program. In addition, they will provide outstanding phone and in-person support to customers on a variety of product/billing inquiries and partner closely with internal sales and marketing teams to assist in revenue-driving activities. Finally, the Sales and Customer Support Specialist provides office and front-desk support to our ~30 person facility.



  • Sales and Marketing Support
    • Manage company’s equipment rental program, including: setting up/removing customers and rental machines; contacting customers to answer questions and gather monthly reading; and maintaining/processing all related billing activities
    • Assist marketing and sales teams with regular and ad hoc requests, such as entering/tracking data, updating customer quotes, and producing reports
    • Generate targeted mailing lists for email blasts, meetings and special promotions
    • Process and fulfill marketing literature requests
  • Customer Support
    • Respond to customer inquiries regarding products and invoicing via phone and email
    • Assist corporate customer service and accounting teams in researching and investigating one-off customer situations
  • Miscellaneous Office Support
    • Handle front-office reception duties, including greeting visitors and directing telephone calls
    • Ordering inventory and other office supplies
    • Assist facilities team with mailings and mail processing



  • High school diploma required; Associate’s Degree or higher preferred
  • 2+ years of prior successful experience in supporting external customers and/or internal sales/marketing teams
  • Ability to solve complex problems and provide optimal customer service
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customers and to all levels of the organization
  • Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Knowledge of a multi-line phone system
