Role Overview

We are currently seeking a talented, self-led energetic Technical Support Specialist to join our team at our office in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The Technical Support Specialist will provide technical support to dentists, dental offices, and outside installation and service technicians primarily via phone and email.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to customer requests received via phone or email
• Work across many functions of the business to identify customer issues, develop solutions and coordinate implementation between the customer and our service technicians
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide repair solutions for Panoramic Branded X-Ray equipment
• Train Dentists, Dental Staff, and Technicians on the proper use of the Panoramic equipment and its proprietary software
• Document customer complaint, investigation and resolution in accordance with Panoramic’s Quality Management System processes and procedures
• Update and manage customer accounts within our CRM and ERP systems

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Associates degree or higher preferred
• 2+ years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to troubleshoot general mechanical, electrical, computer software, and computer hardware issues
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to understand and convey clinical/technical product information
• Superior verbal and written communication skills with customers and to all levels of the organization
• A dependable, team-player attitude accompanied by both positive energy and enthusiasm for working with customers.
