Role Overview
Young Dental is looking for a Marketing Specialist who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced role. The Marketing Specialist will deliver on multiple marketing projects while simultaneously supporting company growth objectives via execution, measurement, and refinement of ongoing or ad hoc marketing, brand, or communication activities. The Marketing Specialist will partner and collaborate with the Young Dental Product Management team and will work closely with the Young Dental Brand/Creative Services team to manage marketing tactics within the brand guidelines and meet specified requirements and deadlines. The Marketing Specialist will directly reporting to the Senior Product Manager and will be based out of our office in Algonquin, Illinois.


Responsibilities

  • Manage downstream marketing initiatives for specified product line to ensure projects are properly scoped and entered in project management software. High attention to detail to ensure deadlines are met will be critical
  • Execute necessary marketing tactics (including but not limited to: direct mail, advertising, sales flyers and catalogs, and sampling campaigns) required to support product line revenue goals
  • Support Product Managers to report, track and modify marketing activity based on results and analysis
  • Collaborate with the Product, Sales and Creative Services team for new product launch activities
  • Develop and implement Go-to-Market marketing strategy for new product launches
  • Track and report on progress against company and personal KPIs (outlined annually)
  • Utilize business systems to extract customer and product data to support marketing efforts
  • Assist Sales with Tradeshow and Training activity
  • Manage multiple projects, including new business integration and oversee process of drafts and approvals appropriately to meet deadlines
  • Drive our brand standards through to all products in order to maximize our brand exposure, influence sales conversion and drive consumer loyalty
  • Translate and analyze large quantities of data from our systems via Microsoft Excel, using Pivot Tables and other advanced methods
  • Drive market research function and execute surveys and customer interviews to inform marketing decision making
  • Work with Product Management leadership to develop future-need reporting and dashboards
  • Ability to create and/or streamline processes and procedures when needed
  • Ability to track and manage marketing budget specific to the product lines you’re managing
  • Summarize results and present to various levels of the organization
  • Support cross-functional areas related-to or dependent-on Marketing, such as:
    • Partner with Customer Service on promotional-activity alignment
    • Support international sales and marketing teams as needed
  • Understand and become self-proficient in the Company’s internal ERP and CRM system
  • Support Sales with Customer-facing meetings and training sessions

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, Marketing Major preferred
  • 3+ years of marketing experience, dental or medical industry a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Word, PPT, Excel
  • Experience working with ERP and CRM systems a plus
  • Excellent project management skills to meet deadlines and manage workload with multiple campaigns
  • Strong problem solving, analytical and creative skills
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and articulate manner
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team-environment
  • Proactive and energetic personality that drives results
  • Ability to Travel 10-15%
