Position Overview

We are looking for a broadly experienced Business Development Manager who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced role. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for individually contributing to activities as well as leading a team of Specialists designed to drive new revenue opportunities for the Company. This individual will lead conversions using data via marketing programs, relationship building with distribution partners and deploying field sales team to follow up and close opportunities.  

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Convert sales leads using an Omni channel approach – Calls, email, social media and YCRs.
  • Understand and deploy data metrics and performance planning to manage lead conversion.
  • Effectively manage the lead-to-close process.
  • Deploy specific strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
  • Manage performance metrics, track and report on conversion rates, market trends and related KPIs to include Proof of Concept initiatives
  • Ensure consistency of data through training and data monitoring across all companies/program users.
  • Develop dealer headquarter and dealer representative communication tools and establish a process for distribution on a monthly/quarterly basis.
  • Deliver sales growth by facilitating leads through the sales funnel.
  • Forecast monthly and quarterly performance results and present them to management.   
  • Meet assigned Key Performance Indicator
  • Maintain customer information within internal systems such as company ERP and CRM
  • Ensure that new products are fully introduced and that annual pricing updates are communicated effectively.
  • Communicate and maintain organizational policies, to include pricing, profitability and operational requirements.

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 5+ years of successful inside sales/marketing experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing a team
  • Prior experience with CRM systems
  • Ability to work independently and creatively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to build and maintain key professional relationships
  • Maintain strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with many different areas within the business
  • Travel up to 10%
