Under direction from the Quality Assurance Manager, develops, delivers and tracks training of employees. The Training Coordinator monitors and reports the status and effectiveness of the training program.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Administration of the training program, update of the training tracking system, and coordination of training sessions, possibly across multiple shifts.

  • Work with other departments to assess training needs and to develop training program for the different functions within the facility.

  • Develop, implement and deliver training for varying levels of individuals in different departments.

  • Evaluate training progress and status of training to ensure compliance to the applicable operating procedures.

  • Report on the status of the training program for assessment of compliance and to ensure visibility to upper management.

  • Ensure that the training system encompasses all necessary elements, e.g., GMP, safety, OSHA, quality principles, etc.

  • Maintain Young Dental training file system.

RELATED DUTIES: Support efforts to ensure compliance of the training program during audits and inspections.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a training function of similar duties.

  • Ability to motivate other employees.

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-pace environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time occasionally.

 

Working Conditions:

Use standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets. Work in a manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
